A properly implemented UBI (Universal Basic Income) system will result in a positive impact on a free market economy (capitalistic system).
This is assuming that a UBI were to be implemented in the United States, or any country with an economy focused on a more laissez faire approach. We could speculate on how it would be implemented, I have my own idea (cutting the current welfare system as unnecessary, a re-budget, and a slight but acceptable increase in taxes), and many others have their own ideas of how it might be made possible, but I'm looking past that to see if a UBI would even be a good idea to begin with.
